Abstract :本学看護学科第1期生の地域看護学と地域看護実習の概要を分析し、今後の保健師教育を考える基礎とするために、特に実習のコアである地域診断、家庭訪問、健康教育について履修状況をまとめた。地域看護実習は、4年次前期の6月に3週間、7月に3週間の2クールで80名の学生に実施した。実習施設は、沖縄全域にわたり保健所6カ所、市町村29カ所で、5人の指導教員で担当した。実習施設の確保と学生配置については、「沖縄県地域看護実習調整会議」で県内の3看護系大学が提案した学生約220人の実習配置計画について討議して決定された。地域看護実習では、事前学習として実習地区の地域診断を行い、実習中に必要な情報を加味し、実習終了後に完成させることとしたが不十分であった。家庭訪問については、全学生が複数事例を指導保健師と同伴訪問のあと単独訪問まで経験した。健康教育については、全学生がテーマをもち、対象に実施することで一連のプロセスを経験した。
This paper analyzes the classes in Community Health Nursing and Health Nursing Practice which the first graduating year of students took, and reviews the elements of their practical training - community diagnosis, a home visit, and health education - in order to improve general Public Health nursing education. 80 fourth-year students took Health Nursing Practice for six weeks (three weeks each in June and July) in the first semester. Six public health centers and 30 municipal facilities throughout Okinawa prefecture were used as facilities for practical training under the guidance of five educators. A coordination meeting for Health Nursing Practice in Okinawa secured facilities for practical training and allocated about 220 students from three colleges of nursing to each facility. In the Community Health Nursing course students were asked to make a case study of their district, adding information gained during the practicum, and submit a final report on its completion. Each student also experienced an unaccompanied home visit after an initial accompanied one. Concerning health education, every student experienced a sequential learning process of being his/her assigned tasks which they then put into practical application.
